About the network

The ClearTrust Publication Network is a family of 6 websites published by ClearTrust. Each explains one subject well, gives its work away, and earns its keep from advertising that only people see.

Why it exists

Two things on the web have gone wrong together. Much of what is published is written to catch a search, not to teach anyone anything. And much of the advertising that pays for it is shown to software, not people. Each makes the other worse.

This network is an attempt at the opposite: writing that leaves the reader knowing more, paid for by advertising that reaches the people it was meant for. If both halves hold, the result funds itself and stays free.

Who is behind it

ClearTrust is an anti-fraud company: it detects invalid traffic and ad fraud for businesses that buy and sell advertising. The network is where ClearTrust applies that work to publications of its own.

How it is made

The publications are written and maintained with AI, from named sources, under rules set out in the principles. Everything is licensed CC BY 4.0, and everything is designed for humans and AI agents alike.
