What it is
Mela is a guide to the world’s festivals: what each one means, where it happens and when to go. Dates are computed across the Gregorian, Hebrew, Islamic, Chinese, Persian and Ethiopian calendars, and each page says where its facts come from.
In its own words
Every festival on Earth, by country and city. 1,141 festivals in 192 countries: what they mean, where they happen and when to go.
